check engine light please help........

alright it worked ,the light blinked once,and then twice real quickly,so 3 times but the last 2 were faster then the first one.what is it.

describe it again, it was a steady pulse, then 2 quick ones...say again...

alright the check engine blinked a total of 3 times,it blinked once and then the last 2 blinks were steady,it kinda paused between the first one and the last 2,kinda like this 1 23 and it kept doing it in that order 1 23 1 23 1 23

is it the map sensor?

well the codes are like this:
the check light will blick a longer blink to represent the first digit of a 2 digit number and then will blink short for the second digit.

ex: 1 long blink then 6 short blinks are code 16...

urs is 1 long and 2 short which points to "exaust gas recirculation...code 12

egr...check hoses the egr valve lift sensor and the egr valve...do you have a helms?

caus ei dont know how to do that....haha at least u know, but u can still drive on it...

i have my helms in front of me or wutever, haynes same shit to me.

look up the egr valve in checking it, also in there talks about trouble shooting the egr code and what to do....its the bible of our car hahaha
