    tps sensor whoas

Okay everyone im just double checkin something. OKay im setting my tps sensor now the thing is im lookin at the voltmeter not sure which settin to set it on can someone tell me i can take it from there i need to know it says it needs to read it in ohms which one should i turn the dial to. Is it the one with the 20 with the upside down u on it??

yes the ohms is the upside down U and it all depends on whehter you need to test in Ohms, or Khoms to determine which one you select.

Is there any reason you're setting the TPS using Ohms instead of testing the voltage at the ECU pins? Just curious

right....but what I'm asking is why you're using ohms as your measurement to set it? I've always used voltage as the method to set it....like so....

Put the multimeter leads in pins D11 and D22 at the ECU plugs. Withe the ECU plugged in and the key on, engine off, the meter should read .5V when closed and 4.5V at WOT. Adjust the TPS until it reads within this spec and then tighten her down. Make sure that it does not get out of whack when you tighten it down too.

I was just wondering if you knew of a benefit to setting it based on ohms instead of volts like what I described above. I prefer the voltage method cause you set it based on what it being read AT THE ECU so it seems more accurate to me.
