gas!!!!

here in canada/montreal the gas price is a bitch!
its 103.4$can per liter. i feel that my gas goese down really fast. maybe its just me.
the car is a 91 ex-r and has a ractive short ram intake.
i feel that it consumes more gas then my 92 ex.
is this a problem
or its normal?

Ya, I'm getting bad gas kms a while ago, check ur O2 sensor, tire etc

My mom's cb7, 90 exr, is getting like 550 km to tank.........

quit stomping on the pedal to hear the short ram, lol.
seriously, when I put a short ram on my cb7 I was always mashing the pedal to the floor to hear the intake and my gas mileage was the pits.
When was the last time you did maintenence on your car? Check the air in the tires and front end alignment? All of that can affect gas mileage.

i was too lazy to put air in my front tire that now it has a bubble
so i guesse ill be putting in more air today and less racing

heh 103.4 / L - that's some serious raping!
We're still in the high 80's in Alberta (still sucks).
I get 8-9 L/100 km on 87 octane (regular) in the city. Some things I think help:
- change fuel filter regualrily (yearly or so)
- maintain ignition system (plugs wires cap rotor)
- keep air filter / intake clean
- keep tires inflated, maybe add a few psi
- use 5w30 full synthetic
- use RedLine SL-1 fuel system cleaner (or some other brand)
- DON'T drive like a jackass! / use the highest gear possible when cruising. I like to throw it in 5th if I'm just cruising above 60km/h.
