if u have a manual the rear motor mount will most likely not go out....just feel it for ruffness and tears....

in a manual its differnt than an auto..manual is full rubber...auto its hydrolic filled...

my back mount on my other cb7 is gone, i fixed the front but like when i come to a STOP, u feel the thump and like when i go, once the car shifts over sometimes i feel a tug/thump
o and say if i dont let teh car warm up and i back out of a parking space the engine moves and thump hard as shit, but if i let it warm up, it shifts to reverse fine.

im gettin it fixed tomorrow tho, shit cost to.

is that the cheap short term soluton or a good long term solution?

You mean to tell me that you guys that have sticks don't have to pay the $300 bucks for the damn rear mount. WTF!!! I have to replace mine and the only clue its giving me is that sometimes when sitting for a while the car starts to shudder and idle really low, almost dying.

how can you visually tell if the auto's is bad?

and can you fill the rear mount on an auto with urethane?

if so, how do i do it, and where do i get the urethane?

                        thanks

i need to know where to find it also...but i've read 3M window something works just as well and u can find that at home depot type places. And also, as i was pulling my a6 intake mani from another accord i saw the rear motor mount was easily accessible. So before putting on the manifold i ordered one of the poly-urethane mounts and sure enough it was easily as hell to get to. The only hard part was lifting the motor to the perfect angle in order to slide the rear mount bolt through the insert and such, so basically take the intake mani off and your good to get to the rear mount.
