Problems attaching header to downpipe help!

Okay So i went and got accordwarriors dc header. I was told buy a few people it would fit on the EX downpipe. Well i took my header off got his header i got from him in. and it pushes the downpipe way down. The dc header is alot bigger then the stock one so there is lots of stress on the downpipe. So im like fuck. I go and put the stock manifold back in and bolt the top bolts then do the bottom and i find out all the nuts/ bolts that are attached to the manifold are all stripped so now i can't get the stupid downpipe attached to the header. I tryed everything and i turned the car on and its SUPER LOUD. like its going to blow up.

Mike told me to get new gaskets and hardware witch i ran down the street and got some nuts but since the bolt on the manifold is shot im fucked.

Pics are below. if anyone can help please let me know or ill be having a shop fix it. I really don't want to deal with this Bullshit>
    Thanks!

    Wayne

THis is my temporary fix. IT didnt really do anything but i need it to get food down the street and to work tuesday morning. unless one of you kind people can help me

why cant you push the two togetther and for now clamp them with a few c clamps...if the bolts go through the holes they should keep it lined up..then clamp it to hold...how this for ghetto?

I'd cut the old studs off and drill a hold where the studs used to be....then blace some new bolt down in there. No reason why this shouldn't work, I do it all the time.

so you stuck the header and downpipe together with peanut butter?

but that does look pretty ghetto...made me crack up alot

I agree with 92hondaex drill them out and use bols and nuts. Or I would soak them with wd 40 pb , blaster or whatever and see if you can take them off with some vice grips.

there is no drilling necessary.. wtf?.. the studs are two sided and they screw into the flange.. just get some vise grips and unscrew those bitches.. or do the ol two nut trick and unscrew em..
