    motor mount help

hey ya'll... i need the motor mount thats under the intake in the rear... but i'm trying to look it up online and theres 16 different kinds.... theres like 3 types of rear mounts with solenoid valves.... but i'm swaping to MT within the next week.... so could i go ahead and get the MT mount even if i have an auto for a week? i'm really confused..

well you need to decide wich one you want to get because auto-manual are not interchangable. You're right, there are three types; all autos use the oil filled vacuum controled rear mount, manual trans EX's use oil filled (non-vacuum) and maual trans DX & LX's use a solid rubber similar to the front and side mounts.

All I can say is i had a '91 AUTO EX...i kept the BRAKET and kept the mount the same when I dropped the manual H22a in...I just put the F22aX braket on the H22a. Then I just re-connected the vacum line that went to the braket.

      That's what i did.

      good luck
