Main relay fix

What are exactly the symptoms of the main relay going?

basically, its the car not being able to start due to no fuel supply. It will crank over, sounding like its trying to start, but WILL NOT TURN OVER COMPLETELY

heres what you do to diagnose the problem:

get in your car and leave the drivers door open

turn the key into the ON position, DO NOT START THE CAR

ones its on the ON position, lean down to the outside of the car and listen for a fain whining, thats the fuel pump priming. You have to listen really good.

if you dont hear the faint whine, then you know your car will NOT start and the main relay is bad
