Speedometer stuck at 45 MPH

So this morning i was driving to work and my speedometer was working fine then it got stuck at 45 jumped to 50 and jumped to 53. It did the same thing decelerating then worked smoothly from 45 on down. I have also had the same problem on my tach this winter but it just kinda went away. Any suggestions?

hey some times like after it rains my sppedo goes crazy on me also but after a while it starts working

probably a lose wire that's doesn't have a smooth connection or something?

not really sure though, I'd check the wires.

probably an issue with the speed sensor. i'm not sure where it is on the f22, but in the h22 its right on top of tranny kinda hidden by the shift linkage. that sounds a lot like the problem i was having, hope it helps.
