Exahust to loud. any ideas to make it softer?

Well i installed my tsudo catback exahust and its VERY deep. It's so loud without the silencer it makes me like deaf haha. So i put that silencer right back in and its still VERY loud.

How could I make it a little not loud but keep the performance of the exahust.

O yeah cpmike that gasket crap worked. Or it worked so far lol

honestly, im gonna suggest cutting and welding on a different muffler. if im thinking correctly, the tsudo muffler is straightthru... just like what i used to have. i had a 26" magnaflow resonator and that didnt help at all. if its still too loud for you with the silencer, youre gonna need a different muffler. and i high suggest taking out the silencer. it fucks your power up badly. last time i went to get my car dynoed, i gained about 17whp from just taking the silencer out... no tuning.

as an alternative, may i recommend the obx twinloop. shit, obx should be paying me commission for this shit. it is a great muffler... and imo, perfect. some might argue looks, but as far as purpose goes, zero complaints.

I use the $40 Dynomax super turbo 2 1/4 in and out.., and i ran 2 1/4 from the resonator back. I love the sound cause it's kinda quiet, but it's loud when i open it up..well it sounds like it has some guts too it atleast.

17HP????????????????? what are u driving lol. mufflers themselves on ly give u maybe 3hp. ok so silencer does dampen flow ok so take away 5 hp lets say lol but 17hp damn that is good i would like to see the dyno results on that one lol

Diddo... I'm using a dynomax like the above member, plus two cherry bombs... quite enough to keep my parents happy, but flow good enough to turbo...
