Run it outside. Just take an old garden hose, spray paint it black or something, and use it as shelding. Just hack it up and run it underneath the car.

I'd say run it inside. Less chance of your wire getting messed up. Run it through the firewall and under the carpet down one of the sides of your car, just like you'd run a power wire for an amp.

I don't think there is a huge risk of battery fires.

ran mine inside, then on the passenger side floorboard I drilled through and dropped down. then came up in the engine bay. But yeah, I like the garden hose Idea. I might do that.

i have mine runing on the inside for about a year now not a problem ..... by the way you dont need anything biger than a 4 guage wire ... dont waste your money on 0/1 gauge wire .....

In Need of an engine, just a basic f22a...pm me if you have one willing to part with.

yeah, there should be a DIY.. and running it outside.. the only place that would be safe from scraping would be by the exhaust.. which is obviously a bad idea.

By the way remember once you relocate your battery to the trunk some tracks require you have a cut-off switch mounted on the trunk to race.
