    A/C weirdness '91 EX Coupe

This my wife's car we are discussing. Here is what it is doing:
The A/C technically works, but only blows cold air out the far right passenger's vent. All others blow hot. Some one have any ideas about this one?

    Thanks in advance...

hmmm...maybe the vent ducting has come apart somewhere under the dash?

    Just a thought...really not sure.

    Good luck.

The problem I have (or maybe it isnt a problem at all, just to me) is that I dont thing my blower blows hard enough. But I dont think there is anything I can do about that.

Do all vents blow about equal airflow? How cool is the air coming out of the far right vent?

If the A/C is really working and all vents are blowing equal, the only thing I could think of is your ducts are just really hot and need to cool off first. I know my A/C takes about 10-15 minutes to get fully cold because it has to cool off the ducts first, which retain a lot of heat in AZ.

The disconnected duct problem sounds feasible. Wonder how difficult/expensive it is to repair...?

The "cooling the ducts down" thing is a good thought, but...
They all exhaust with about the same force. Saturday night, my wife shuttled me to a gig (I play in a costumed/facepainted band) and I had to keep my face plastered to the vent all the way across town, about a 25 minute drive to keep my face from melting. (Sorry- the band thing is a WHOLE other story...) Point being, it never got any better...

If the duct was disconnected you wouldn't be getting air flow across all 4 vents. And Im not sure but I don't thinks its very possible for the duct work to have just popped off, its all molded plastic.

I don't know man, thats really strange. My guess then is your a/c really isn't working and its just coincidence your getting cold air out of one vent, which just happens to be the closest to the blower motor.

Yeah...I would check the pressure on the system. Maybe you are low. My thought above was just shot in the dark.
