Tow Hooks...

Sup guys....any of you cb72nr's have tow hooks on your car?
I always see them on civics/integras, i think i saw one cb7 in the members ride section awhile back...but i dont remember who. so yea if any of you guys have them post up pictures and let me know if they required any modification.

i dont member his name but he has Benen Tow-hook and he strapped it to the normal tow hook spot. or just some random bolt.. dont member

we all have two tow hooks in front under the bumper and two tow hook in the back as well. as for aftermarket tow hooks that stick out of the bumper, that's a different story.

from what i see, putting a rear aftermarket tow hook is pretty easy and requires little to no modification. the front one is the concern since our bumpers sit pretty low to the ground already. when pulling up to a parking block or curb, the first thing to hit besides your front lip or bumper (if you're slammed) is the stock tow hooks!

The first thing to hit the curb on my car is that bar that runs front to back under the engine. Actually, it's quite bent right now. I need to replace it sometime.

hmm ok.. when ur car is slammed on its titties.. if it breaks down and needs to be towed... the tow guy putting the locks on the BOTTOM of the car will raise it more than if he puts it somewhere at that level (benen tow hook)..

if its raised from the bottom...

say buh bye to ur exhaust/rear lipe/side skirts.. etc.. if u have it.. mostly ur exhaust will get beat to shit getting it on the flatbed or towing it just from the front wheels.. its not just an apperance thing.. its practical..

I don't plan on having my car towed so much that I worry about that. Try to keep up with maintenance and quit breaking down so much!

-break an axle from a hard street race (t00 much power)
-blow ur clutch
-tranny
-nitrous the fuck out of ur engine...(cough cough mick cough cough)

etc...
its not just due to poor maintenance that causes ppl to need to be towed..
