    holy shit, was this normal?11/1??1/1one??11!

ok so ive had a speratic idle for a little while now, so i take off my FIV, clean it real good, and do all the things needs, i put it back on, fire up the car, goes to 4k and just bounces all over the place, so i run around and see WTF happend and i look at my idle skrew and it some how un skrewed it self all the way out, i had no idea wtf happend, so i unpluged the AIC, and it bounced a little but toned down, so i push the skrew ALLL the way in it can go, and it idles like factory now..and she purs nicely...what did i do lol?haha

Its a common problem. They started putting a spot of glue over the screw to keep it from backing out. I doubt you did anything, it probably just did it over the course of 15 years. Glad to hear you got it figured out.

Your sure its the FIV? Just wondering, its a good idea to be sure rather than throwing new parts at it hoping it'll fix the problem. I'd rather see you get the swap than buy new parts for an engine you dont want to keep... good luck either way man, hope it all works out for ya
