ecu identification?

hey is there a way to tell if an accord ecu is an A1 A4 or A6 ecu without knowing what accord/engine it came from?

my ecu might get switched out tommorow by this mechanic and i want to be sure that in the end i have an A6 ecu again no matter what.

it will say in the midle pt6 pt3 ect. pt6 is f22a6
