What's up guys. I just recently sold a H22 to a guy wh is a member of this forum site and he recommended ya'll. I'll leave his name unmentioned until he lets the cat out of the bag. He has numerous posts and many of you know him. The motor I sold him is a 1994 prelude H22 that I personally ported and polished the intake, heads, and TB myself on. I currently list my ported and oplished stuff on Ebay as well. After everyone gets to know me here I will be offering my services. I would like to wait until everyone has a chance to hear from the other guy that Im legit so that everyone here feels safe. I read the thread on here about the scammers and i have dealt with two of them with shi*ty results myself.
Anyway, I am building a 5th gen(I know Im gonna get reamed for this) accord for my wife. It is going to or has presently an AEM cold air, ported TB, ported f22b mani, ported heads, DC header, stock exhaust(my wife hates loud mufflers), OBX pulleys, unorthodox crank pulley, fulls msd ignition(cap, coil, wires, 6A), looking for a good cam(help here please), and aem fuel rail and regulator. I am looking at the threads here and notice many of you are using the H23 intake on f22a's, but will this fit a 94 vtec motor? Also, anyone have any opinion on removing the butterflies on the mani? My wife just doesn't want the down time for a H22 swap as I work alot, and then port on the side. So this is almost completed and it'll be a simple 1 day drop in motor swap plus it'll get great gas milage if you keep the fuel turned down and your foot out of the gas. Also does anyone know of a GOOD exhaust that is relatively quiet? No bumble bees please, she'd kill me. Any help on the cam and intake is greatly appreciated.
If it helps, I used to have a 91 accord lx with a fully built H22 and 100 shot that ran close to 13 flat. But then I became a father and priorities changed so the car got sold, and 3 weeks later the guy totaled the car at the track trying to spray from first gear to finish and hit the wall at about 80. Looking forward to helping you Honda guys reach your goals on hp and ass kicking.
