    park and brake tail lights staying on?

    ok i just got back from getting dinner and with my car off the tail lights and rear window brake light are staying on? can some one if any one knows what might be wrong please tell me cause i can't drive!

    There is a brake pedal switch, and the clip for it broke. There should be a little blue plastic crumbled part in your footwell area on the floor under the dash. What you have to do is just put something between the switch and the top of the pedal. You really just have to look to understand what i mean. Like there is a black prong that comes out of the switch, push that in and the lights go off, then stick something between that and the pedal to keep it up, and when you press the pedal.. it'll go down and let the switch go out.

        that was a pain. but that was it. getto riged it up for now. costed 10 cents. glued two nickels together then electric taped it around pedal. tomorrow ill go c about buyin one of those plastic pin thingys. thanx man!

          Suprizingly, doesnt look more than 50 cents from the stealership. The nickels should work fine though.

            50 cents! man thats alot of money! might have to go to a arcade to check the machines to make that much!

              Couch cushions are never a bad route, I found a buck in my grandparents couch. You could get 2 switchs for that.
