rebuilding a tranny should really be left to the pros. unless you just want to take it apart to see how it works.
That said try contacting www.gearspeed.com they do some good tranny work
I don't know that first hand I've only heard form others.

If you have the Helm's manual and the correct tools, I say go for it. Their instructions on how to rebuild the tranny are so detailed, they are overwhelming. As far as handling a bunch more power goes, I don't know how the F22 tranny will do. Some of the shafts and what not are pretty whimpy compared to some other Honda trannies, but I am sure it would be fine. Anyway, I think you should give it a go!

What does yours need?

Helm's is unbeatable. Once you use it, you will never want to go back. Many people argue about the price, but all it takes is one mess up based on what Haynes says and you just covered the cost of the book and then some. The only real downside is that they are Model/Year specific, so if you are dealing with different years/models say with an H22 swap, you may need more than one. Not a big deal though in the grand scheme of things.
PS Haynes and Chilton's aren't always correct. Learned that the hard way.

dude rebuilding a trans isnt too hard...i have had mine apart a couple of times and back together. I would def rate it about an 8 on the hardness scale, just because everything has to be put back so perfectly or it isnt going to work right. My brother and i had mine apart like 2 weeks ago, and then had it welded and put back on and in the car that night. Isnt that bad dude, just get a friend to help you when you are taking it apart, and something that helped me was taking some digital pics of the gear towers and how they went together and shit like that before i completely dismantled it...My baby laying down some power...

theres a helms on ebay..dont know what year it is specified too...
but yea i got mine straight from helms..not to bad 64 for the 91 accord and 62 for the 94 preludes. but yea. i mean if you are gonna bring it back to stock specs id take a weekend and learn something bout the tranny.. but if you want to get it rebuilt and handle some CREZZZZY power or setup some different ratios...leave that to the pros.
