    90-91 parts fit 92-93?

specifically, will a hub adaptor for an aftermarket steering wheel made for a 90-91 fit a 92-93? thing is, they dont techinically "make" them for our cars cuz of the airbag, but im guessing they would be the same. also, does anyone know if hub adaptor kits are pretty much universal? Cuz i want a steering wheel that APC makes, but locally all i can find are Pilot hub adapters. are most steering wheels a universal 6 bolt pattern?

also, will a distributor cap made for a 90-91 fit a 92-93? again, im seeing no reason they wouldnt be compatible, but then again you never know. The package says 90-91 accord. is this just marketing ignorance or is there a reason? the base engines are the same unless you have an EX or SE, correct, and then its only an intake manifold difference, at least this is my understanding. someone correct me if i'm wrong. and lemme know if you've experimented with the hub adaptor stuff. thanks!

The rotor cap from the 92-93 will be different cause of the external coil on the 92-93. And the adapter hub should work once u get the airbag and wires out of the way.

In most if not all states, it's against the law to remove or disable an airbag.
WWC of "Pimp My Ride" fame just got fined 16Gs for disbling an airbag in a vehicle.
I'd check the law before turning my ride into an outlaw.

thats why i love my 91 lx....just pop on the hub and feel the italian leather...mmmmmmomo

but back on what you were asking. when i was looking for a hub for the accord its all grouped together including the CA accords too. so yes the hub should work. but since i was buying a matching momo set(hub and wheel) the momo hub specifes that its for the non airbag equipped due to the variations in local laws. good luck though..and there is a lot of cheap hubs out there. i went with MOMO since its collapsble in an accident, ie: it wont crush your chest in when you are thrown against it.

lol, thanks for the law lessons, but i'm not too concerned about it. i just wanna make sure everything will line up before i spend the money. just wanna make sure that the splines are the same.

appreciate the info, has anyone else actually checked this before, about the similarities between the steering hubs for the 90-91 and if they're workable on a 92-93? or does anyone know the spline count on the shaft, if theyr'e the same?
