the a/f gauge you tap into the white oxygen sensor ground coming from the ecu.
the oil sensor requires a additional that you need to weld somewhere in your motor/oil pan, at least from what ive read with the autometers.

          Negative on that one ghostrider...

The autometer elect oil psi gauge comes with a sender... All you have to do is relocate the stock idiot/warning light sender and hook them both to a tee from the stock sender location... or ditch the stock sender and run just the autometer sender on the block... but some people have big problems with the sender mounted to the block... problems like going thru 3-4 senders in short periods of time... probably the vibration & heat...

The Oil psi sender install teaches you to appreciate the finer points of NPT, BSPT, -AN and all sorts of different kinds of pressure fittings and adapters... frequent trips to Summit & Harbor...

              Affirmative...

that's how I hooked mine up... I'll double check on the color of the wire at lunchtime...but I'm pretty sure it was the white wire coming from the O2 sensor...but I'll doublecheck just to be sure...

thanks, i was not aware of that. in regards to the a/f gauge, i tried to figure it out myself off the wiring diagrams, but i just ended up emailing autometer.

I too REALLY want to do an oil and air/fuel gauge. How can I do this? Where might I purchase them, for the cheapest, and how can I install them? I REALLY want an oil gauge, especially since I will be racing my car, and I changed my oil tonight at work..

I would perfer white faced guages, to mach my other ones. I wanna place them on the driver's pillar, but I hear that there is no mold for these? Someone, please help me..I am getting cash for christmas, and I wanna sort my stuff out, in order of what to get, and what to wait for..

Ok, I am confuzzled. What is the dif between electric, adn manual, in terms of guages? Also, how can I hook it all up? What connectors will i need, and what extra parts will i need? I have a 92 ex coupe, if this helps any..

electronic is digital read and a wire hook up from a sensor that has a tube connecting to the oil pressure unit as a bypass to tell how much pressure is there

the other kind is just a normal one found in old trucks that read oil pressure from a oil line that hooks up directly to the guage...

mostly aftermarkey is digital and requires the removal of the stock oil pressure unit, then using a t-fitting to put this sensor on top of it, and then it goes back into the block and then the wires go to the end of the t-fitting.

(we jsut did it on a fb civic...pain in the freaken butt if you dont have the right tools.)

i think it was a 23 MM socket that had no room, yet the accords will have more room...

                      i say a 3 hours job..

connectors u will need will be given to you, you need to ground the devices though so look for some self taps to ground. some extra wire, and some butt connectors and some black tape. you will be screwing with the AF guage so you want that to be a nice connection...and leave slack for the wires incase you mess up.

other problems we ran into was he made all the wires black!!! haha so get some red wire, black wire, and then some green wire...green wire for the sensor unit (oil.)

know what wires under your car are illumination so the guages light up at night <thats if the guages light uP>

find a path from the firewall to the engine bay, there is one on the drivers side so dont worry...

yet if im completley off, ill recheck tonight, ill let you know...just some stuff for you to concider...get the right tools! haha

cb7 deathride is right on it though, that t-fitting i was talking about just goes inbetween the sensor and the block to detect the pressure.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
