I had to replace the front left wheel bearing yesterday most likey due to a curb hitting incident. Basically, a couple of years ago, I was going to fast down a off ramp on a snow covered road, slide and hit the curb. Both wheelcovers broke on the left side and damaged the front left steel wheel.
In result, I replaced the wheel with a used steel one, got new tires and alignment. There appeared to be no other damage.
There still is noise present at the front left wheel. I hope its a bent wheel, but it be a suspension component?. The repair shop did not mention of any other damage, maybe they screwed something up during the wheel bearing repair.
