ebay intake question

i originally capped the top hose but then i put a sock over it this morning and this seemed to fix the problem which i was having before...should i have connected the top hose which in the cai install guide is supposed to be capped with filter foam or not?

yes just connect the hose from the valve cover to the intake thats the way its designed to work and will look much better than a sock in there lol just hook it up the way it was originally and youll have no problems.

alright ill hook it up...how come the aem intakes dont have a place for this tube to be connected?

i beleive its cuz they give you foam filter for it...

hmmm...well if aem wanted to they could have always made a place for the hose to go instead of having to cover it up with foam filter...whats up with that?

ive got an AEM SR and it has both holes..i used some vacuum line from the stock intake air box chamber to extend the line near the throttle body to reach the corresponding hole on the SR, and as for the hose that connects to the valve cover AEM DOES supply hoses for that.
