    Leaky Sun Roof

93 Honda Accord SE 2 Door Coupe

It's been raining like crazy here in the North East and the sun roof has begun to leak. It's never leaked before. As anyone run into this problem? How do I go about getting the fix?

    Thanks for any replies.

Make sure the drain holes aren't plugged. Take a small jug of water and pour the water on the "channel" on the sides with the sunroof opened. You should see the water coming out and puddling by the front wheel well and the rear quarter panel. There's one on each corner. Use compressed air or a long flexible wire for the front 2. for the rears, you'll have to take the side panels off the trunk and access the tubes from there.

Also, I had a problem where the rear shims were worn out. The sunroof wasn't sealing properly at the back letting in more water in than it's supposed it. I got new (used) shims from the junkyard and re-adjusted it. http://www.honda.co.uk/owner/AccordManual/400/14-33.pdf
