Rusted rotor to hub?

Get bolts that fit through the caliper bracket that are long enough to touch the rotor and have threads left over. Thread a nut on the opposite side of the bracket, and tighten the bolt.

It’ll press against the back of the rotor and pop it off.

I was hammering on a rear disc set-up for 20 minutes today, got frustrated and did this. Rotor was off in 30 seconds. I hope this saves somebody some time!

Most rotors are design with threaded holes on the face of the hat. These threaded holes are used to dislodge a rusted on rotor. Simply insert two bolts that fit the thread pitch and slowly twist one side in at a time. Alternating as the rotor starts to move.

Rear rotors on new Nissans don’t have that luxury. Just giving options!

Typically, newer cars, Nissans included, design the rear rotor with the parking brake as a drum in the rotor. In these cases, my previous design mention does not apply.

Also, cheap replacement rotors don't always include the threaded holes.

I really hope you undid the set screws before trying to separate the rotor from the hub.
