Installing the plastic water shield within the drivers door
Installing the plastic water shield within the drivers door
I had to replace the driver's window motor, but during the processs, the plastic water shield was damaged. A new one was purchased for $25 from the dealer. What is the best way to install it back? Use of water proof tape?
IMO, that shield is pretty much a waste. Whenever I take apart the door panel, I usually just tear it apart. But since you already got jipped from the stealership, I would just use some superglue, doublesided tape, whatever. Just make sure you clean the place where you are going to apply the adhesive to so that it sticks.
