strange behavior condenser fan

Hello CB7 knights,
it's been a long time.

recently I changed my condenser fan because it was not working, however, I noticed after replacing the new fan, that when I turn off my engine, only the radiator fan comes on but not the condenser fan. However, when the car is running at normal operating temp. both fans come on as it would normally do.

if the fan timer or the fan switch was the problem then why is the radiator fan performing normally but not the condenser fan.

I believe the condenser fan is only supposed to come on when the AC compressor is running, or if the temperature is well above normal. For after shutoff cooling, OEM manual indicates it only uses the radiator fan.
