I am about to do a clutch install and I was wondering if our cars use a pilot bearing. I don;t see how they couldn't, but one didn't come with my clutch kit so I was wondering if I need it or not.

if you meant the pilot bearing being the "throw out bearing", then yes you will need to get one. i would suggest going OEM honda for this one. don't forget to have the alignment tool as well or else reinstallation will be a bitch.
yeah some clutch kits out there don't included the throw out bearing.

the pilot bearing is different from the throw out bearing..
the pilot bearing goes in the center of the flywheel, my fidanza came with one and i just poped it out because it wouldnt allow the tranny to slip in..
throw out bearing SHOULD come with a clutch kit... if not its like 30ish dollars i think.H22 Prelude VTEC 92-96 200 161 10.6:1 87 90 DOHC VTEC 2157 JDM

Yeah, I have the throw out bearing, it came with my clutch. I just wasn't sure if Accords needed a pilot bearing. According to CPMike, they do not.ProjectParty.net
