    Engine failure

Hi, you might have an idea of the breakdown on my 2.2 cb7 agreement.

If someone has an idea !
So for some time I had an engine warning light that would turn on when I needed power (for example a good rib on expressway) sometimes accompanied by a loss of power.

More recently I had a cold engine problem, for the first 2-3 km she did not climb in the RPM.
    (2500 max, 70 km / h in 5th).
And if I stay at constant rpm / speed it has big failures.

And so this morning on expressway it stopped, it hardly slows down, does not climb in the RPM, 1500 maxi by giving accelerator shots and same thing to start it.
And by giving these thrusts of accelerators it drops in regime, then releasing ascends.

Thank you for your help !

Have you tried to retrieve the codes from the ECU?

Is there any blue/grey, black or white smoke coming from the exhaust?

Where has the engine coolant temperature gauge been sitting during warm engine conditions?

This diagnostic technic is OK for Accord CB7 ?

        That's the one.

Otherwise known as the paperclip method.

Yes. And by the sounds of your issue a good visual inspection wouldn't hurt. Clean air filter? etc. All the fluids good?

not always. there can be stored codes that do not have a solid check engine light.

If your Check Engine Light was only flashing or coming on briefly under load, that means that there was a cylinder misfire. I would start looking at your ignition system for worn or failing parts.

              Ignition components that can cause a misfire;
              • Coil
              • Plugs
              • Wires
              • Distributor Cap, Rotor
              • Ignitor

Then you could also look at your fuel system
              • Fuel filter
              • Fuel injectors (for a lean condition misfire)

Also a restrictive intake or exhaust can cause misfires as well
              • Dirty air filter
              • Crushed or restricted intake tube (small rodents can make nests in there if they get a chance)
              • Clogged Catalytic converter
              • Crushed exhaust pipe

                I have some news !
                Four code :
Code 1 Heated oxygen sensor A
                Code 7 Throttle position sensor
Code 14 Idle air control valve or bad ECM
                Code 43 Fuel supply system

This is crazy you must change your O2 sensor that's one. That throttle position sensor must be an issue its cheap to fix but make sure you mark it that way it has the proper voltage at the proper angle. The idle air control valve you must have a bad vacuum leak but try taking it off first and cleaning it. As for the fuel supply system I wouldn't just change the fuel-pump first just change that tps sensor.

                    Hi !
I changed the O2 sensor today.

The engine starts, holds the idle for a few seconds and stalls.
She still does not climb the towers.

And always by giving these thrusts of accelerators it drops in regime, then releasing ascends.

I disconnected the throttle and exactly same.

I would perform a compression test to make sure all cylinders are getting good compression. If not, then no amount of swapping out small parts is going to help anything.

                        Hi,
My father sprayed the gasoline into the air intake.
                        And the result is OK.

I check the throttle sensor, OK 0.52v to 4.32v.

A friend tells me to control, fuel pressure regulator, MAP sensor and injector.

Small return of the checks carried out on my CB.

                          MAIN RELAY tested: OK

I disconnected the fuel return after the pressure regulator and there is nothing flowing, so it is good.

BUT! Is it normal that nothing runs after a few pressures and start-up tests?

If anyone knows or could do this little test?

                          Thanks !
