    TruHart Sport Shocks Review

I just purchased a set of GC coilovers that were meant for a 92-96 prelude, but will fit CB7s fine, I believe only the spring rates differ so I'm not too worried considering I got such a good deal on them and they're going on my DD since the gap currently is fist sized.

Anyways, I needed new shocks and wasn't going to subject my stock dampers to lowering and possibly blowing out shortly after install so I was in the market for performance shocks.

I did some research and found these new TruHart Sport Shocks, (P/N TH-H506) that have a shorter shock body meant specifically for drops greater than 1". You have to be dropped more than 1" for these to work.

They were pretty cost effective, $163 shipped for the set of 4 with a lifetime warranty. I was going to opt for KYB GR2s or Koni Str.t's but since they were a new product and got some decent reviews by this guy:

I figured I would give it a shot and see how they handle. According to his review, I think i'm right at the threshold of what the rears can handle, with my 280lb springs that GC stocks and 380lb in front for the kit. He actually rated them better in front since they have the shorter body vs. the STR.T and posted up a compression/rebound curve.

I'll update this with some install pictures and see how they ride with the GC coilovers this weekend.

Just wanted to throw this out there since I know some people were interested in these for a lower cost shock option when lowering.

here's another good review from a guy who's had them for quite some time

any update on your experience with these? i had installed them with neuspeed race springs and did not achieve the drop race springs are known for..i was confused by it so i took them out, compared to oem rear shocks these truharts have a difference of abount an inch from the perch to the mounting fork on the bottom so in essence these shocks are taller aka drop killer probably more so than agx's, i dont have comparison pics atm but i will they seem to still do what they are intended to do
