I ask because there is no egr connection and I have no clue what the extra wires for the shock tower harnesses are for. I checked their pdfs but there doesn't seem to be an accord write up

I remember RyWire's site saying something about specifying what car (Accord vs Prelude) and trim level you have because there are so many different setups with those shock tower plugs when it comes to these cars, and that you'd likely have to send your stock harness in so they can be sure. Buying used is definitely risky here.

Like it is stated above , most of the rywire harnesses are custom for the cb chassis due to the shock tower plug configuration. I have the rywire harness, and the extra wires are for adding sensors. The extra wires come from the main harness not the shock tower sub harness.
Post a picture maybe I can help you out.

Sorry I don't have pics at the moment since I'm out of town. But I ordered this from rywire a year ago and finally had time to work on it now. I specifically ordered an obd1 90 93 accord h series harness and it didn't come with egr plug and came with a map sensor plug..
My question is do I use this map sensor and disregard the one on the black box? Because thus harness hooks directly to the ecu and I have no idea where the black box one hooks up to.
Sorry for the long wall of text. Lol

Yes, just delet the black emissions box along withe the egr. Then just connect the map sensor, use the one on the the throttle body for h22's.

Not really , but if you have an h22 swap , then you will need one any ways.

also i know the rywire harness is cool and all but you took an expensive route to just add 4(5) additional wiresLast edited by illinois_erik; 05-16-2015, 11:38 AM.

The rywire harness is a bargain compared to oem price. I had to replace my harness due to 20 years of oil, cracked, missing, cut, spliced, and burnt wires.
