How do my Cylinder Walls look?

I just deglazed my frm walls by hand with wet n dry sand paper. if you're confident and know what youre doing it can be a viable option.
If that vertical score can be felt with your fingernail though I'd get it honed professionally. But then you could be looking at oversized pistons.

Yeah, my colors were pretty faded, too.
I cross-referenced the colors against the stampings on the crankshaft and the connecting rods. Both have individual stampings on all four cylinders (although I had trouble finding the stamping on the crankshaft journals). There is a table in the service manual that tells you what color bearing to buy, based upon the stampings.

Have you had the cylinders looked at yet? I took my block in a long time back to a shop that does H22s all day - they even had a Prelude right up front when I went in. I mentioned one of the cylinders was scratched (looks exactly like yours; I could feel it with my finger nail, although the walls are still glossy as hell because of low mileage), and before even looking at it, the guy said it had to be re-sleeved. So I'm interested in what you hear...Last edited by CyborgGT; 05-20-2015, 01:03 AM.

Found these online, but I don't know if they will work with the FRM cylinders.

i think youre over analyzing things. that scratch is there yes, does it justify 1000's of dollars to address, no. just deglaze the cylinders and get some new rings and call it a day. Guess what I had a similar scratch on mine too from being a newb removing my pistons, I said fuck it, masked off the cylinder and spray painted some very high temp silicone paint over the area, then deglazed the cylinders with 1200 grit wet/dry sandpaper when I was cleaning the block in my bath tub, couldnt even feel it afterwards. I have great compression across the board and the car fucking rips .if the scratch was the entire length of the cylinder sure trip out..but not everyone can have NASA precision standards or budgets.

Okay I'm back with some results on my walls, they needed to be re-done/plasma the material back on, so I had a local machine shop send the block off. While I was at the machine shop, I had them mic my crank to see the clearances for the bearings this is what he wrote down.
Rods
Flywheel - 1= 1.8887 2= 1.8891 3= 1.8889 4= 1.8889 Spline
Main
Flywheel - 1= 2.1651 2= 2.1648 3= 2.1643 4= 2.1643 5= 2.1649
Does anyone have a source to where I can find the color codes that would match these size bearings so I can order them off Majestic?
