My car keeps blowing headlight bulbs on low beem? it goes back and forth from pass. to driver? could there be a short the driver side is two months old and blew again...what should i do?

let me guess, you have the one piece projectors.

you aren't touching the bulb when you're installing are you? also, what kind of bulbs are they?

Cheap bulbs will blow fast, especially the 'lazer blue' or 'plazma blue' kinds. I've even had problems with Sylvania Silverstars.

My current Phillips Xtra Blue (very slight blue tint) have lasted for quite some time now.

I have silverstars (not the conversion ones anymore) and I find they blow every 3-4 months.. it's starting to get annoying...

yea sounds right, go to like cool blues or something, silverstars blow all the time, i wouldnt waste my 80 bucks for 4 bulbs on them

Doubt its a short. Make sure you arn't touchin the bulbs like said before

when was the last time you had your alternator checked?

The bulbs are not being touched....the headlight that just recently blew was fairly new i got it about 2 months ago. So what ever kind of bulb that came in it. So i show try cool blues? About how much can i expect those to be im on a tight budget.
