    Oil pressure light blinking

I know this isn't a cb7, but my 96 accord mt the oil pressure light blinks after about 10 minutes of driving, or when I come to a complete stop. If I nose dive when I stop, I get a solid oil light, then it goes away. The moment I start driving it blinks. Same thing happens when I take a turn too fast. When the light is on if I'm driving or at idle, I can turn the car off and start it back up the light stays off...until I nose dive/brake too hard or turn too sharp.

Any ideas on what my be going on. My oil levels are correct btw.

If you have oil at level when its at optimal level it can either be the oil pressure sending which is at the back of the block engine block unit, bad oil pump on its way out. Either way do not drive it anymore get it towed to the shop if you can.

If you continue to drive on it if there isn't any damage to it already no proper oil to counteract friction the motor will starve which can cause the motor to sieze or throw a hole in the long block from the rotational force from the crank.

I'm really hoping it's the sensor tho. I'm by cb7 when it was the oil pump failing it was a constant blinking oil light when the car was running. My cd7 it only comes on if I'm braking hard or turning too fast, which could be the sensor just not reading properly. My Jbody actually does that on occasion.

What's a sure fire way to know of the sensor is bad. It'd be pointless to start buying a oil pump ($200) when it's a $15 part from autozone
