What is a Tune up?

I've come across this term frequently, but do not know what it entails. Is that just when you change oil, filters, and other maintenance? Thanks

Pretty much. It encompasses replacing the high wear engine items:
Distributor cap and rotor
Fuel filter
Spark plugs and wires
All fluid top off
Cursory inspection of the car

At certain mileage points you'll also want to change you tranny fluid, Coolant, clutch and brake fluid...

Belt inspection is good idea as well when inspecting car over also check brake lines and fuel lines for those living in areas where these cars rust
