    stubborn egr code

Okay guys, so to bring you up to speed on everything I've done I had 3 CEL codes when I started IACV, fuel supply, and egr codes. I've eleminated all but the egr code, I replaced the old valve with a new one, cleaned out the ports and re-plugged the manifold, and still have code 12 showing... I'm not real sure what to do at this point. Maybe someone else has experienced something similar? Also idk if this means anything but the car had an f22a6 from factory, and now it's got an a4. Maybe this is something ecu related?

Confirm that the valve opens when vac is applied when the engine is warm. You will feel the engine struggle.

Now hook up a "t" fitting on the line going to the egr, run it inside somehow or on the hood and go for a smooth ride. Does it ever show vacuum? If not then the source is the problem.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Have you tried to reset the ECU? Is the car still running fine or sluggish?

Yeah I guess I'm gonna test my cvc and egr solenoid... That's really the only thing I can see it being unless it's bad wiring or an ecu thing, and to slyknik, yeah I did reset the ecu, it runs pretty okay when you're actually running it but it idles pretty low once it warms up

There could also be an issue with the EGR lift sensor in the black box on the firewall causing your CEL... Ive had to replace that sensor in the past to clear a code 12
