    idles high and really rich

Alright so my accord is idling at 1500. Let me start by saying I've got a 90 ex f22a1 block with a6 head and intake manifold. I gutted the spacer piece it the butterflies so no butterflies. I also deleted the fitv. I've already tried to adjust it with the screw on the throttle body but it's at the lowest point. I can't figure it out as for the running rich I'm hoping it has something to do with the high idle. I have deleted the charcoal canister but other than that it's exactly the way it came from factory. Also I have a bit of a backfire not sure if it has anything to do with the other stuff I'm thinking I may just need a valve adjustment

is your car idling high when it is cold as well as when it warms up?

your FITV, if you didn't know is your fast idle thermo valve.

Could be an issue, I don't know.

Yes I know what fitv is and yes it idles high both cold and hot the fitv should only matter if the car is cold

Running rich and idle high could be an O2 sensor reading incorrect data, which also = an air leak. Seeing as you deleted the butterflies you should be looking into an air/vacuum leak with some soap and water spray or carp cleaner (<- be careful, do your homework here).

        May help, best of luck.

I thought I sealed those butterflies up pretty good but your right I should check it out and I'll check the o2 also
