    Turning Off Heater??

    Hey fellas, my heater control is broken and there's warm air coming out... it get's pretty toasty during the day... I bought a new climate control off Ebay... i'm just waiting for it. Is there a way I can turn off the heater in the mean time??

    put it on recirculate not fresh. (your vents)

      If you look on the firewall close to the fuel filter (passenger side), theres a thing with a coolant hose going into it. On the top, there's a cable attached that runs into the firewall (goes to the heater controls). I can't remember which way but if you pull on the tab the cable attaches to, it'll close the coolant passage so the heater won't get hot coolant.

      I just took a pic since I'm working on my car right now anyways. It's set to cold and the tab seems to be towards the firewall.

          Yup,that's me! I use YK86 on all the Honda boards I join. I use YK99GT for the Mustang ones. I've had this 4th gen for a while but never really joined any 4th gen specific boards (just didn't have time). I haven't finished the B20 swap yet. My car rusted out in the trunk and I need a new frame to redo everything on.
