Your in luck someone is doing this now http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...02#post3165302
Or were you asking if they like it. If your asking if they like it then yes you get all the gearing of a h22 trans with a f22 5th gear for highway who wouldn't like that.

Ppl love the setup. But the f22a 5th gear is sweet cuz ull b at a low rpm on the highway. Ur engine will b screaming at 80mphs with a h22 5th gear @ 4k rpm.**Blk Housed Slut Crew Member #1**

I'm at about 3200-3300 at 80mph vs. 4000. Well worth it IMO. I get over 30mpg on long roadtrips.
Don't ask me how to do it though. I took it to a guy that rebuilds all the trannies for my local AZ honda forum. He only charged me 200 to rebuild my M2B4 w/ a new 5th gear syncro and sleeve set and do this F22 5th gear swap though.
I know he had to machine/shim a few parts to make this work though, so its not exactly a drop in and go affair. But so far I'm having zero issues, everything is shifting smoothly with no grinding into 5th or any other gears.Last edited by Losiracer2; 09-13-2013, 10:45 AM.

The true test would be to load the car up with 800-1000lbs and see how the gearing fares then. After packing my Fit COMPLETELY Full to move from Texas to California, I now know why honda used the gearing they did. 5th gear becomes dog for acceleration below 80mph, and the rest of the gearing doesn't seem so short hauling all that weight.
