    Clutch Pedal No Return

So I started taking everything out for transmission and clutch swap, got as far as the clutch line and it spilled some fluid. Since I now need to drive my car to get the axle nut off I start putting things back together and now the clutch pedal will just shoot to the ground because of the spring when pressed. I filled the master cylinder with some fluid to bleed it. The fluid in the reservoir is not even going down in level when I pump the pedal and bring it back. My guess is the hole in the line and the bolt are not matching up maybe.

Also to add to the information, when I press on the clutch fork into the rod I see the level of the fluid will raise and bubbles will sometimes come up. When I look below, not sure what to look for but I am looking at a rod connected to the pedal go in an out with the pedal so I am lost here.

Bleed the clutch. Sounds like you have air in it. I'm not sure how to do it. I have a brake bleeder I use.

That is what I am attempting to do, but still the level of the fluid does not change. I did try one method where I pump and leave the pedal depressed and then loosen the screw on the slave. It worked momentarily but it goes back to not pumping.

unless you have the hand pump bleeder you need two people.

Its something like Pump the pedal 3-4 times with the slave screw closed and then hold the pump at the bottom and open the screw. Then close the screw and release the pedal.

          It takes two people.

Start video at 17:18 through 20:14

A pressure bleeder or a friend would make this a lot easier.

Got one of those vacuum guns and it worked, the clutch is hard as a rock, which I like. The only other cars that are stick that I drive are trucks, jeeps, etc so I will feel right at home. I will try to tune it a bit, any tips?
