The diagram shows A17 pin going to the "bypass control solenoid". That's IAB's right? There is no IAB plug on my harness, so why does my ecu plug have the IAB wire? So odd.
Maybe the previous owner/owners messed with it, although there are no signs that I am aware of that a harness swap ever occurred. If so why are all the A1 parts are there; the manifold, block, head, etc. Makes no sense.
Anyways I think my problem with the IABs not working may be something very simple. I took power from the fusebox just like you did and I grounded it with the A17 ecu pin. I verified that power was there but I could not get them to ground so they would close at idle.Last edited by Mishakol129; 02-06-2014, 01:03 AM.“Speed has never killed anyone. The 1991 EX wagon also had the F22A6.My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

I bet you it was the factory that messed up the wiring. The the car is an LX and an A1, nothing on it inside the engine bay shows any signs of having A6 parts. Just that ECU plug does. I wanna find out where the other end of that pink/blue wire is though and do some more inspection maybe I overlooked something.“Speed has never killed anyone. Are you testing the solenoid while the car is running? Because the butterflies won't open unless there's vacuum. The wire will end at the harness connector on the passenger shock tower.Last edited by Mishakol129; 02-06-2014, 01:47 AM.“Speed has never killed anyone.
