When I did my head gasket and timing belt. I accidentaly pulled the wires out of the temp sensor on the thermostat housing. Like the one right under the coil. I haven't gotten to a junk yard to pull the plug yet cause it yanked the wires clean out of it. But sometimes when I idle for a little bit the car starts to get hot and the fans don't kick on. And I have to turn the ac on to get the fans to come on. Does that temp sensor give a read out to the fan relay?

I don't mean to be a smart ass, but, what else would provoke the fans to run? The temp sensor is exactly that. It measures the temp of the coolant. Fans cool the radiator, which is cooling the coolant.
Coolant gets hot, fans kick on to cool radiator so radiator has better cooling affectOriginally posted by wed3kim a douchebag to people and i don't even own a lambo. whats your point? we, douchbags, come in all sorts of shapes and colours.
