skweeking howling noise

hey, as the title says, when i turn the car SOMETIMES i get a screetching, skweeking, or even sounds like a dogs howling noise,
sounds like it might be coming from the steering colum, but dunno

all help appreciated thanks

If it's coming from the interior, it's probably the ring assembly (sandwiched between the steering wheel and turn/wiper switch.
