Car Hard To Start In The Afternoon

My car is getting harder and harder to start in the afternoon. I think it has something to do with the heat and fuel. In the morning it starts up right away and runs perfectly during my 45min commute. After work, its really hard to start and sometimes i smell fuel too. I have not checked the fuel pressure, but its alot of pressure from the gas cap. I recently did a full tune up and changed the fuel filter. Any tips or common issues can you guys please help me out. thanks

This has to be the most common question on the site, we are answering it nearly once a day. Please try the search feature by typing "MAIN RELAY" in and searching for it. Also please look at the stickies starting with the rules.

Turned out to be a bad fuel pump.

That's odd. Our fuel pumps don't usually go bad intermittently.

No matter, you have it fixed and it's working properly now. Cheers!

I have had 2 different cb's where the pump went out intermittently. It seems to be becoming more of a common issue.

the job only took me 30 minutes. So wouldn't bother me to do it twice. I actually did have to do it twice on my hswap car went and got a airtex cause I needed my car that day. Then It went out 3 months later. Thats when I got a walbro lol.
