serious power loss

replaced ECU with correct P13 today, got vtec working, only CEL is 12 (EGR). However still expereicing a power loss between 3-4.5k. Great accel in 2k-3k range, then almost nothing (as far as pull) and then vtec kicks in and hauls ass

Could it be an ingition problem?

ya, imma try replacing my ecu if the new knock sensor doesn't fix my problems...

yeah i got a lag for 2500-3000 and 4500-5000, what i mean by that is when i give it gas (1/2 throttle) through those ranges in gear it feels like its struggling until it hits 3 or 5k and then it picks up, no codes. I think its the injectors. any ideas?

i know this is super old, but i have the same problem on a new car...any one got any ideas? This time, my only CEL is 8/17. TDC Sensor (must be a short in the wiring, old motor didn't have that problem, and new car's wiring harness didn't either), and EGR.

This is old super slow, as in...no vtec, at least it doesn't feel like it. No pull all the way till 6.5, nothing. I'm not throwing VTEC error codes, and I ran the wires my self.

Any ideas?
