Replacing the e-brake cable is just annoying if you don't have a lift.
I'm going to get a new tank. I don't want to have to do this again for whatever reason. And I'm going to run the new line where the old one was as I want to use the old fasteners (especially because there are holes in the body to screw these fasteners). Once I put a new line in there, I'll never need to do this job again. Plus it looks like the line is bent in a manner so there is no rubbing of parts, which would cause a leak in about a year or so.

Did you get your gas tank straps off with no issues?

I did get the old line out, but it busted in a few spots while trying to get it out. I thought I took a pic of it, but I guess I didn't.

And I did rip the ebrake cable out as I'm doing a disc conversion also.

I undid the strap bolts closer to the engine and loosened the rear ones enough to just swing the straps out of the way. Mine weren't rusted as much as yours. I will reuse them.
