CD5 exhaust on CB7

So I know this question is asked every so often. Today I had a chance to snap a pic of a CD5 and CB7 aftermarket cat-back side by side. CB7 on the left, CD5 on the right.





Differences are; about 6-8 inches (I didn't measure) in length, a flex pipe on the CD5 in the middle of the exhaust that the CB doesnt have, is what looks like makes up that difference. The 3 flanges on the cat-back are in different spots witch doesn't make this a bolt on deal. Any exhaust shop can easily help you with this though.
The similarities; the curves/bends and hanging mounts look to be in the same spots.

Hope this helps anyone wondering about this, and is this is in the wrong section feel free to move it where it's gotta go.

Should come in handy for someone who can cop themselfs a cd5 catback for cheap. I have one on my car. Bolted right in after I had it shortened up a bit at the local muffler place

I suppose all you'd need to do is shorten that pre-cat pipe a bit, and it'd fit fine. Good job with the comparison!

Thanks for the information. I've been looking into this for a while to, but I have a cd5 instead of a cb.
