    Caliper question

Will akebono calipers fit on a car that had nissin calipers. The whole caliper assembly including the bracket.

I was wondering this also. Nissin calipers are a pain in the butt.

Actually, yes they do, now that I think of it. I had the rotor over hub conversion done on my old sedan, that had akebono calipers. I didnt wanna lose that when I sold the car, so I swapped the whole knuckle over to this car, which has nissin, and they bolt up fine. So akebono and nissin calipers can be swapped out. You do have to have their respective caliper brackets, but I think the mounting brackets should be the same.

well the bolts are striped on the part that you take off to change the pads and I need to change the pads, So instead or wasting my time with that bolt. So the easiest way is to change the whole caliper out since I have a set of extra calipers already right?
