HI guys. I just found a sweet 92' wagon for sale in a manual. Currently I have a 91' wagon LX but its an auto. I just rebuilt the engine in my car and the trans is a low mileage unit from japan. The dealer is asking $2,600 for the 92'. Its an EX with about 170,000 miles on it. The interior is in perfect condition. Best part of all is its a stick!
Now I put about $1,300 into my rebuild along with the transmission. Given that, what would you guys do, would you buy the stick shift or would you keep what you already have? I guess it depends on if you can afford it. I think I could but the problem is how much work I already put into mine is huge and I don't know if I want to put any more work in another car.
I'm afraid to post the link lest someone else wanna get it, but its a nice car.
I would like to know about manual transmission for these cars, are they reliable, are they good, can they handle a good amount of power or do I need to upgrade it?
I could swap the auto out of the wagon I already have but thing is its a low mileage unit, don't want to junk it just yet. Plus it would be a lot of work and I heard can cost up to $1000.
It would be cool to have a stick wagon that's all im saying. And this wagon is in awesome condition. Its got rear discs and stuff.
