Get a resonator, & a silencer like this one. My car is not loud but has a deep rumble sound to it, I have a WS2 Catback with their N1 muffler & that quiets it down to about stock sound.
mine is solid like this one.
I have that silencer in right now, it is much quieter but its louder than stock. Where can I find that resonator you are talking about? I don't wanna spend anymore than 120$ since that is the price I will pay for making it OEM style (OEM style muffler + resonator is 120$). If I could get it down to OEM sound and make it look OEM for a price much lower than what I said I would do that. People said to get a muffler, that by itself is 50$ give or take, then you have the cutting and welding to do with the muffler and/or resonator (which I must pay someone to do), that could be anywhere from 50-100$. It seems like less time consuming, pricey and labor intensive to do it OEM style, but what is your take on it? Mind that I don't want to spend more than 120$.
that other pic helps lol, the other suggestion i forgot while typing about myself.. is that lump in the middle pipe have a muffler shop cut out that bump and weld in a glass pack thats about as long as that whole section, I did that and had a dual DTM tip oval muffler 3aracing or some shit, when I first got it, and it helped so much i was still agressive sounding but w/o the bee's in a can raspy high pitched noises, I think thats what gets the cops attention the most is that CLACKCLACKCLACK like a friggin AK goin off
I just looked back at this and am now going to do it. I found a 26" resonator online. I took the cat back off because it was too loud then put in a stock muffler, then I welded an oval turbo muffler onto my old cat back thinking it would be quieter but it was still too loud. Now I am running with the stock muffler and midpipe, but I want to put my old one back on. With this on it it should be fine:
Sorry I didn't take your advice earlier I just was afraid of doing something I didn't know how to do. Then when you think about the cost of having someone do the welding for you it makes less confident. But I found a shop in town that welds exhaust for a great price.
What about a cat, I don't run a cat and I know that makes it loud. So will it be quiet or loud still?
The muffler dude at the shop will have tons of them. Different lengths ..
He can bend/spread them to fit ...
Yeah I massacred my rear wagon bumper, this was when I first got my non-wagon cat back and thought it would be a good idea to cut out a section of the bumper... You can see the disasterous results. I still don't know what to do about this as I can't find another wagon bumper. I'm going to get a custom tailpipe and turn it back to wagon exhaust tip though. Would a body shop be able to fix this for a reasonable price? I really want to fix it myself but with what materials, I know bondo wouldn't work, so what would?

just cut it a touch more to even it out. a body shop is gonna charge big bucks to "fix" that
I've noticed a lot of your posts and I think the biggest thing that would help you is researching and saving more money before you do things to your car. Your engine rebuild, engine bay paint, and now this, are all things that say a lot about how you work on your car. I'm not bashing you by any means, but I think that more planning and thought about what to do next on your car would be good to do. It's your car
, and YOUR money. Again, just my 2 cents.

I agree I have needed more planning in the past, it really was money and time that made me make such poor decisions. I now know what I'm doing.
I think I'm just going to swap an H23 into my car and then repaint the engine bay while i'm at it. Its not like it has to be perfect either, I think the engine paint job is fine, no big deal. Its the outside that is iffy. I literally have 3 different colors on the outside.
i have this muffler. nothing else. the rest is all stock. no tickets, no problems, no looks, and im in falls church va. its a nice deep tone.. and it will get loud, if i get on it, if...
had it on 2 accords now, works great.

You kept your cat conveter though, I have no cat right now and even with a stock muffler and midpipe its still loud. Before when I had the 2.25 ebay exhaust, it was loud but it was also very deep, draws much more attention when its deep.
Here is what I am going to put on the ebay cat back. Its a 26" resonator/glasspack.
Was only $40.

Haha, its no big deal I know what i'm doing now.
What I am going to do about the bumper is just go the junk yard with a mini hack saw and take another piece from a CB7 and cut and shape that to fit perfectly into the place I cut out. Using some good epoxy to affix and permanently hold it in place.
Surprised I never thought of that before, I feel like a artard. Its going to cost me $4 to fix this, I just ordered the mini hack saw from ebay, since I lost my old one I originally used to cut the bumper.

You have a non-wagon though, I need to have a shop make a tailpipe piece for me that's 2.25". Since the wagons use this piece, its not a straight piece like the non wagons.
Exactly like this but only bigger:
If anyone knows where I can find an already pre-cut piece like this except in a 2.25" or bigger, let me know because I don't know if the shop near me can make such a piece for me.
