H22a piston ring question

The rings should have come packaged separately and should have been labeled.

Thank you, but I have that exact picture. I just can't tell the difference between the top ring and the second ring. There not labeled, your suppose to look at the rings and differ them from top ring and 2nd ring but its kind of hard and I was thinking someone knows already by looking at them..

Honestly, they look right. You can see the ridge shown in the pic for the top ring, as well as the ridge for the 2nd ring. I would say you're good.

Yea, it's what looks and feels right for me as well. I'd just hate to pull it back out because of it.

What you can do is to look at the cross sectional view of rings with a 10x loupe.

I got my top and bottom compression rings mixed up and its too late to fix it now... Is that going to mess up my build in the long run?

I though T1 meant top compression ring and T2 meant bottom.

She runs great though, lots of power and good mpg at 8,000 miles.

There's no need to fix something that's not broken.

my 1st and 2nd are the same style ring but different materials. the 1st is shiny aka "moly" ring and my 2nd compression ring is just a cast grey finish one.

on some occasions the first ring has 1 dot while the 2nd has 2 dots
