    I have driven 20,000 miles a year for the past two years and recently got transfered back to 6 miles away from my house at work. I have throughout this thread stated some of these peices of data but while I remember them I will bundle them in this post.
    Winter=high 27's,28,29,30 mostly 28-29
    summer= 31,32,33,34 even 35 mostly 32-33.
    On the highway windows up ac on and windows down ac off are the same thing concerning mpg in my coupe.
    Tempurature has a large effect on mpgs in my car. It was evident last winter while it was 0 degrees day after day and I could not crack 400 miles on a fill up.
    I believe different gas stations have an effect on mpg's not so much because of gas quality but the accuracy with which they measure the gallon.
    Over the last 40,000 miles 95% of my fill ups where at the same three gas stations, Giant Eagle, meijer, and UDF.(united dairy farmers)
    I chose these locations out of convenience, two of thm close to home and one close to work.
    Of the three my best mpg's came from UDF and they may have the best gas of the three(mobil) but I started to notice I could fill up anywhere then use udf in my next tank and calculate 32-33 or what felt like higher end of the spectrum. So I would have to go to udf a few times consecutive to make sure their pump didnt just shut off early. Sure enough udf gave away gas compred to the other stations. Just a little but enough for another 1-2 mpg.

    Giant eagle was the worst offender, Maybe its the brand new pumps which allow them to be more accurate or maybe its the 1.40 off in fuel perks which make them gas grinches. Giant eagle never gave more than 31 mpgs.

    So one morning I was pulling into meijer and there was a fairfield county wieghts and measures truck parked by the holes where they fill the tanks. The worker had them open doing his thing and I didnt think much of it. I filled up per usual and bam 34+ while my trip meter read something normal like 415-430. Huh consumer friendly pumps while the weights and measures guy is there, he must have had an appointment. My trip meter should read 460-470 with no gas light to grab 34+.

    So I spent most of those two years driving all the way accross town getting gas near work at my favorite station, udf. Unfortanatly I will likely never go there again as It was all the way accross town.
    I know there are thousands of variables which could be addressed here but I strongly recommend trying other stations regularly and see what you some up with. Then go back and fourth and then back. There are a couple mpg's hidden in that pump.

    Now that I drive 60 miles a week I dont really care. I fill up now as often as I used to do oil changes.
